statement of faith
I believe the Bible was given to all of mankind as a guide for how to govern our lives. I believe that the Bible is perfect and without flaw. The Bible is God's Word. It's the highest and final authority. The Bible stands for eternity and it never changes.
Psalm 119:105; Psalm 18:30; 2 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 40:8; Psalm 119:89
I believe that God exists in 3 persons. The eternal Godhead. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They serve 3 different functions but all work together. All are equal in power, authority and majesty.
Genesis 1:26; Luke 3:21-22; Matthew 28:19; Matthew 1:9-11; John 5:21-23; Romans 8:9-11; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:8-12
I believe in the one true God. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Yahwah, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Shalom, Jehovah Nissi. The Father of Jesus. God is all powerful, omnipotent, onmipresent and above all, Holy. He has no beginning or end. He created the earth and everything in it. God is faithful in keeping the promises He's made to His people. He is full of love and compassion. He loved mankind so much that He sent His Son, Jesus to die on a cross and to rise again, so that mankind could be reconciled back to Him.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. Jesus holds all authority. He was fully man and fully God when He walked the earth. Jesus lived a blameless life and died for the past, present and future sins of all mankind. Only through Jesus are we able to have right relationship with God the Father. The precious blood of Jesus covers our sin so that we can boldly approach the Holy throne of God. Jesus is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven.

The Holy Spirit
I believe that the Holy Spirit is the living Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is the indwelling power of God for those who come to believe on Jesus Christ. He is the helper, counselor, and guides the believer to all truth. The Holy Spirit brings God's Word back to the believer's remembrance and convicts the believer of their sins. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit reassures the believer that they are saved and that they belong to Christ.
Ephesians 1:13; John 14:26; Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 6:19; John 14:15-17; John 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; John 16:13; John 3:8; Acts 2:38-41; Romans 8:15; Galatians 5:18; Ephesians 5:18; Romans 8:14
I believe every person was created by God to live forever. When those who have accepted and believed on Jesus die, they will spend eternity with God in Heaven. When those who have rejected and did not believe on Jesus die, they will spend eternity away from God in Hell.
1 Corinthians 15:55; Philippians 1:21-23; Philippians 3:20-21; John 3:16; John 14:6; John 17:3; Acts 4:12; Revelation 5:9-13; Revelation 22:1-5; Matthew 10:28; Luke 16:24; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-9; 1 John 5:13-14;
I believe that God created man in His image. He also created man to have dominion over the entire earth. God loves mankind and has a special purpose for each person born. I believe that God creates all life and that it starts from conception. All human life is to be valued, respected, loved and treated with dignity. God created man to have right relationship with Him, but that relationship was severed by sinful disobedience. God has given man the opportunity to restore that relationship by receiving forgiveness by the sacrifice of Jesus.

I believe that true salvation from the penalty of sin comes only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which men can be saved. When someone believes in their heart and confesses with their mouth that, "Jesus is Lord," they are immediately saved from the sting of death.

While Christians who believe on the Name of Jesus Christ may attend respective ministries, the local church is apart of the body of Christ worldwide.
